Corona Situation
Dear customers, dear opera lovers,

first opera houses are cautiously daring to give their first live performances - a small and hopeful ray of hope in our so-missed cultural world.

At the beginning of June, the Federal Cabinet decided to lift the worldwide travel warning on 15 June for most European states. The travel warning is to be replaced by travel advice for many countries.

From 15 June on we would like to try to offer you a halfway normal Orpheus service with regular opening hours.
If you are unable to reach us personally, please leave a message on our answering machine for any concerns or questions. Our office is still occupied irregularly, but of course you can reach us by e-mail at any time.

We will inform all customers whose booked trip cannot take place. You do not have to become active by yourself. However, we still ask you to refrain from making any outstanding payments that are actually due.

The Salzburg Festival would like to present a modified program in its anniversary year. We expect detailed program items within next days. We would ask all our valued customers who have already booked trips to Salzburg to be patient until the general conditions have been established.

In addition to the Salzburg Festival, the Grafenegg Festival (approx. 1 hour's drive from Vienna) will offer a wonderful programme on the weekends of August and September, the newly founded Bayreuth Baroque Festival is also still keeping to its schedule, and the Baroque Festival in Cesky Krumlov from 18 to 20 September 2020, which has so far had little presence, will also remain on the program.

So if you still feel like music and culture this summer, please let us know. We will inform ourselves daily about which goals are attainable and which performances will take place.

Naturally, we are currently working on our offers for the new 2020/21 season and hope that the opera houses and concert halls will be able to present most of their planned programmes as announced.

For us, however, it would be dishonest to announce that we will soon be able to resume normal Pre-Corona Operations. The "Corona hammer" hit us like all other cultural tour operators - niche driven and even more so - with full force. Our summer brochure, which has been available between June and July for almost 40 years, will unfortunately not be in your mailbox this year.
We therefore kindly ask you to visit our website in the coming weeks and months for further information. Alternatively, we will of course send you our programes and offers by post or e-mail.

As a tour operator, we would like nothing better than to take you to the most beautiful musical places in Europe by tomorrow. In these days, however, each individual will and should listen to "his gut feeling" - because travel, music, art, culture, meetings, exchange... all this should be connected with joy and a good conscience.

We hope from the bottom of our hearts that you, the majority of us, will be able to relive these moments of gratitude for special musical hours, moments of emotion and emotion very quickly, and perhaps in the future you will appreciate these special moments even more.

We would like to thank you very much for your understanding, for your patience in these times and for all your trust. Take care of you.
